Girl, 6, has a weird feeling about her school’s toilet paper so she contacts the police

When it comes to finding out the truth, age is just number, as six-year-old Penny Hoffman proves.

The youngster was not impressed with one of her school's facilities, and set about trying to undercover the truth: was their toilet paper worse than the kind used in jail.

“I kept telling them and they just ignored me, so I brought a sample home,” the sixth grader told Fox2 Now

Determined to find out the truth, the youngster contacted her local police station and asked them to send her on a sample – which they willingly obliged.

In fact, they sent her on two rolls, and a note of sworn authenticity.

But that's not the only thing they wrote on it.

“It ends with a note that says, ‘continue to respectfully stand up for what you believe in,’” said Lynn Hoffman, Penny's mum.

“Which, I think, is a really cool message.”

So is it or isn't it the same?

Well, after all her research, Penny discovered that, yes, the toilet paper is in fact the same as the one used in jail.

“It’s the same and I can’t believe I use this."

Fair play to this youngster – the truth really is out there!
