Boy is nervous meeting his family for the first time so Mum gives him something special

You'll need a few tissues for this one.

In 2012, Luke who had lived in an orphanage since he wa three weeks old met his new family for the very first time.

An emotional time for all involved, the four-year-old, who had been abandoned "likely due to his missing right hand", was being adopted by an American couple.

Described as a "waiting child" in a video posted on the 6alltogethernow YouTube page, Luke was clearly very nervous meeting his mum and dad.

Wrapped up in little blue hat and scarf, the youngster seems bewildered by all the new faces. Gently talking to him, his mum holds and cuddles him.

However, having already adopted two other children from China, she knew exactly what to do to make him feel more comfortable.

Reaching behind her, she gets a green lollipop – which the mum-of-four shows Luke how to lick.

As soon as he pops it into his mouth, the four-year-old starts to relax – and even says "Muma" and "Papa" much to the delight of his parents.

"He was so brave that day. He is an absolute joy and a wonderful addition to our family," the video explains.

"He fits in just perfectly. He is our 3rd adopted child from China, yet, our 4th child.

"We are so glad that God asked us to adopt again and so glad that we obeyed. All the Glory goes to God."

A beautiful video, this one had us bawling.
