Baby

A baby grow has left dads fuming and, to be honest, we're not surprised

One dad was so annoyed by a particular baby grow that he took to Reddit to vent his frustration.

It's your typical onesie – baby pink with a snap buttons to making nappy changing easier – but it has a message across the front which has offended many fathers.

The dad in question who posted the photo stated: "Just have to say, f*** clothes like this."

The onesie states 'this shirt is daddy-proof' with arrows pointing towards the gap for a baby's head, arms and the snap area.

While some people believe the clothing is funny, many dads were quick to spill their feelings, completely taken aback by how people found the item amusing.

"My daughter is only two weeks old and I'm already sick of this shit. I change diapers better than my wife, I burp her better than my wife, I put in car seats better than my wife. I'm attentive and loving, " commented one user.

The thread gives way for dads to speak up on their feelings, mainly focusing on how people see them as incompetent because they are a father and not a mother.

Just have to say, f—k clothes like this… from daddit

"My wife went out of town for a week a couple months ago. I have a two-year-old and five-year-old. I got into three different conversations with people who couldn't believe I didn't need 'help watching the kids, […] They seriously thought I was joking that I was going to be home with both of them by myself."

"No one would dare ask my wife those questions if I were to go out of town," he added.

What do you think? Do we still have a long way to go before people realise that dads are parents too? Never mind that they are well capable and good at their job in fatherhood!
