Family Life

We can confirm that this year’s Gaiety Panto: Beauty and the Beast is pure MAGIC!

THIS IS NO ORDINARY PANTO, IT’S THE GAIETY PANTO!

We had the pleasure of attending last night, and what a treat it was.

Magic from beginning to end – a truly flawless show packed with emotion, energy, and pure joy. The moment Nana Potts sings Tale as Old as Time is worth the ticket alone (have a tissue ready!) Joe Conlan is hanging up his dame shoes. It's his last panto performance after being part of the Gaiety Panto Tradition for the past 14 years. And what a perfect last hurrah.

There is nothing quite like the magic of a Christmas panto, and when it comes to festive family traditions, the Gaiety Panto sits at the very top of the list. This year’s show, the ever-enchanting Beauty and the Beast, has already been extended due to phenomenal demand.

Get ready to be swept into this classic Tale as Old as Time as the Gaiety invites you to “Be Our Guest” for a show filled with magic, comedy, stunning costumes, and heartwarming performances. Directed by Daryn Crosbie and starring the legendary Gaiety Dame Joe Conlan as Nana Potts, this year’s production is a beauty-licious and beastly-tastic extravaganza for all ages.

Families have been coming to the Gaiety Panto for over 150 years, making it as beloved a tradition as Santa himself. This year’s show is one of the most unforgettable yet.
