Toddlers

What would happen if our toddlers won the lotto?

We’ve often played the game in our heads about what we’d do if we won the lotto. It’s one of our favourite fantasies to indulge in and of course it ALWAYS involves never having to do housework again and a trip to a beach in Bora Bora. Sigh.

But a thought struck us – what if our toddlers won the lotto? Unrestrained, what would they blow a few million on?

Just for fun we’ve compiled a list:

Frozen merchandise

The house would soon resemble a Frozen theme park. In fact it would probably be a solid investment because we could start charging an entry fee.

An ‘audience’ with Peppa Pig

You know how billionaire sultans and the like pay Jennifer Lopez or Beyoncé millions to perform private shows for them? Well our little angels would go all Sultan of Brunei, forcing poor old Peppa to take time out from his busy worldwide tour to perform a special show in our front room.

Noisy things

If they can bang it and make the neighbours complain they’re buyin’ it. Drum kits, pots and pans, keyboards – they’re all on the list.

A parent-nanny

A large portion of funds would be earmarked for a nanny (probably ex-military) to ‘mind’ us parents so our kids can get up to as much mischief as they want without any interference.

Puppies

Remember the end of one of the Beethoven films where there are dogs running all over the house? Yep, that is basically what would happen if our toddlers scooped the jackpot.

Disneyland

Weekend trips to Disneyland will become common until the cash dries up.

An all-singing all-dancing ‘performer’

Top of the lotto-winning toddlers hire list is a performer to keep them entertained ALL DAY with the likes of Incy Wincey Spider and I’m a Little Teapot. The performer will eventually get in touch with his union because the toddler does NOT allow breaks.

One of the rides at the entrance of supermarkets

No more begging for a go on the Thomas the Tank Engine outside Tesco and being told, “No, it’s a waste of money!” because now they have their own to use whenever they want. Enjoy the theme tune parents…

A ‘fleet’ of trikes, bikes and cars

Our own cars will have to go to make room for all the top of the range trikes and Go-Karts that will start to fill out the garage.

Heehee. What do you think mums – have we got it right? And what do you think your little ones would splash out on with a cool few mil?

It’s funny though because we know our gorgeous toddlers would choose hugs and kisses from mum over all of the above!
