Try this super healthy (and indulgent!) Nutella smoothie

We’re 100% of the belief that healthy ingredients can make treats just as indulgent and satisfying as the ‘bold’ stuff. Plus they don’t make you feel like crap afterwards!

This almost sinfully delish Nutella smoothie tastes more along the lines of a thick chocolate milkshake but is packed with protein and contains only naturally occurring sugars. And kids will LOVE it too!

What you’ll need (serves 1)

Half handful of skinned hazelnuts (or nut of your choice)

3 pitted Medjool dates

1 banana

I handful ice

3 tbsp cacao powder

300ml coconut milk

Few drops vanilla essence

Method

1. Although you can use raw hazelnuts, roasting them for 10 minutes first and allowing them to cool adds a much richer flavour to the drink.

2. Simply chuck all ingredients in your blender and whizz.

3. Tip: for an extra creamy kick, add half a small avocado (optional).

4. Pop into a glass and garnish with some chopped hazelnuts.

5. Enjoy your yummy, guilt-free drink!
