This mum is looking to 'borrow an orange cat' for the sweetest reason
Parents will do anything to make their little ones smile, even going as far as borrowing a cat to make her kids' dreams come true – which is exactly what Clara Edwards did.
The mum-of-two wanted to create a very special-themed dinner for two- and four-year-old kids, involving an orange cat and a lasagna.
Clara, who is a nurse in Oklahoma, posted a flyer asking to "borrow an orange cat", explaining it is for her Garfield-mad daughters!
"Wanted: To BORROW an orange cat for 24-48 hours, to have lasagna dinner with Garfield-loving 4-year-old and 2-year-old children," the mum-of-two wrote.
"Will return cat happy and cared for. Cat will not be required to eat lasagna if contraindicted [sic]."

A woman spotted the sweet note and posted it to Twitter, where it has unsurprisingly gone viral, amassing over 10,000 retweets.
And cat-lovers everywhere were quick to offer up their feline friend to help the mum out.

So did Garfield go for dinner at the Edwards household?
Yes he did!
The mum managed to find an orange cat meeting the description and he even wore a crown for the special occasion.
Meet Garfield!!! He came… He ate cat-lasagna (wet and dry @9LivesCatFood)… He played dressup…. thank you everyone that helped make this possible! My kids LOVED Garfield! @lauren_jade44 @stouffers @mashable @reddit @travisfortnum @Garfield pic.twitter.com/MpORrfoA95
