Boy was turned away from a play centre for having down syndrome

Simone Blount was on a fun day out recently, and she had her young son Stephen with her.

Stephen has Down Syndrome, and when his mum brought him to a play centre, he was turned away.

Simone, who is from Liverpool, posted about her horrific experience on Facebook, and the story has since gone viral!

"The 'Lady' said 'it isn't suitable for CHILDREN LIKE HIM'… when i kicked off she didn't apologise just offered to give me a tour to prove that it isn't a place he can go to!"she said.

The post went on to explain how upset little Stephen was at being turned away: "He was heartbroken at being turned away and not being allowed to play with the other children."

Since the enraged mum posted on Facebook, hundreds of people have taken to social media to chastise the play centre for their behaviour.

So much so, that the centre's official Facebook page has been taken down, as a result of the growing number of negative reviews.

Simone said that the manager of the centre was supposed to call her and discuss the matter, but she is yet to receive the call!

It all seems very unjust!
