This father wrote a truly beautiful letter to his stay-at-home wife
Kate Douglas, a stay-at-home mum-of-two, was having one of THOSE days last week.
Her sons were not behaving, and when her husband returned home from work, she admitted that she felt "defeated".
Kate went out for a couple of hours, to have a bit of time off, and when she came home she was met with the sweetest tribute from her husband.
Scott Douglas opened his message with: "today was hard and you feel unappreciated or unsure if you made a difference in their lives this is how your day really went…"
The proud husband went on to explain how much he appreciates her, and everything she does for their sons.
He cites the fact that she made them breakfast and lunch, drove them both where they needed to be, put them down for naps, did ALL of the housework and everything else that came her way.
The point made was that just because Kate doesn't have a paid job, she works harder than most, because being a mum is WORK.
Scott's final message reads: "I see an amazing women who never calls in sick, never quits, never turns her back on the hard days and who has the power to go to bed knowing it will happen all again tomorrow."
Scott acknowledges the fact that he has an amazing wife, who is an amazing mother.
"You are an amazing and fabulous mother, you are the greatest thing in these boys lives and we love you , for everything you do."
What a beautiful message to receive from your husband!
