This awesomely talented NINE-year old wedding photographer will blow you away

We’ve found ourselves blown away by the pretty darn incredible skills of a nine-year old wedding photographer.

Yep, when we were nine we were pretty sure we played with Barbies and made pasta necklaces –but at such a tender age, Regina Wyllie is holding her own snapping couples’ most treasure moments.

Regina’s father Kevin is a professional snapper, and it seems she wants to be just like dad – and not even when she grows up, now!

“When she was 3, she asked to come along with me when I was shooting a mountain bike race,” Kevin told BuzzFeed. “She lifted my Canon G9 compact camera from my bag and started taking some snaps. I have never forced her to shoot, or to learn anything, and prefer to wait for her to ask questions or to show me an image that she is curious about how it was shot.”

So when she joined her father to shoot a friend’s wedding as a second shooter, she was more than able to hold her own, capturing stunning images that look as accomplished as anything you would see from a professional wedding photographer.

“Whilst I don't advocate child labour (she's only 9yrs of age), and I would never never have thought of taking her along to a full wedding, it was the bride & grooms request when they booked me, that she shoot with me as they'd seen some of her work previously and wanted their wedding to be her first (they're also close family friends),” he wrote on his blog.

“Now, let me point out here that Regina first picked up one of my compact cameras at the age of just 3 and started asking questions about taking photos and setting cameras pretty soon afterwards. She then progressed onto trying my DSLRs (before I moved over to the Fujifilm X-series cameras), as both my girls have been brought up around cameras, so she began going into my bags, lifting a camera out and asking me to show her how to use it.

“Since then she has been on fashion & portrait shoots, shot the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup at Fort William as well as Trooping the Colour parade in London and even came along to a Trash the Dress shoot at the age of just 7 and shoots everything on full-manual control, like her dad does.”

How amazing! It just shows age is no barrier to creativity and passion. We’re sure Kevin is so proud of Regina and we expect to see BIG things from her in the future.
