The perfect family day: Tayto Park FunFest announce a host of exciting new acts

Today, Tayto Park Founder, Raymond Coyle and TV and Radio Presenter, Lucy Kennedy were on hand at Ireland’s only theme park and zoo, to announce an array of new and exciting entertainment acts which have been added to the line-up of the inaugural ‘Funfest’ Family Festival at Tayto Park which takes place this June (29 & 30) 

For an extra €13.50 per person on top of the usual entry and wristband price to Tayto Park, Funfest ticket holders get to enjoy unlimited entries on all the attractions at Tayto Park PLUS these amazing international and Irish acts across two stages, family entertainment including the Magical World of Pirates Show, puppet shows, street food stalls, dance workshops, juggling shows and much more. The festival is running from 10am to 9:30pm so it’s a full day out for all the whole family to enjoy.

 

With a bill of 30 international and Irish music acts taking to the main stage over the weekend including Nathan Carter, Rak-Su, The Blizzards, Key West, Atomic Kitten, Liberty X and many more, FunFest ticket holders can now enjoy a variety of family fun activities for everyone to enjoy which have been added to the FunFest line-up including workshops, masterclasses, spectacular shows, theatre and comedy.

Along with unlimited access to all the attractions at Tayto Park, families can catch a magical and unique 30 minute show from 12 time Guinness World Record ‘Bubbleologist’, Samsam Bubbleman. Samsam will display unbelievable bubble feats including square bubbles, bubble vortexes and even displaying people inside bubbles. With 8 live bubble shows daily, spectators can enjoy bubble tricks, with bubbles the size of cars and many more mind boggling tricks ending with an incredible bubble party.

Those looking to bust a move, the ‘Dance Yourself Dizzy Little Top Tent’ is the perfect spot for fun and dance. Catch a lesson from some of the dance industries finest artists and instructors teaching everything from hip hop to ballroom. With daily dance workshops and performances, watch some special performances from Ireland’s Got Talent dance troop, KFT, or why not take a ballroom lesson from Irish Dancing with the Stars instructor, John Nolan while checking out some special guests.

Looking for an adventure? Step inside the ‘Pirate World of Tortuga’ and be transported to the land of mystery and pirate magic. With a variety of pirate themed shows including ‘The Amazing Pirate Dance Show’ with Ireland’s Got Talent dance group, Fly Youth or ‘The Incredible One and Only Pirate – Jack Wise’ will keep the kiddies and the parents entertained with a host of tricks, comedy and theatre shows. Those looking for an adrenaline rush can check out the ‘The Pirate Princess Kitty Snake Show’ and have the chance to get up close and personal with these incredible species before dancing away with a brass band for the ultimate pirate grand finale. 

 

FunFest ticket holders will also have the chance to roll on up and check out a brand new show from Fossetts. Experience the magic and excitement of the Fossetts’ show with the very best of the Fossetts’ family and international performers presenting a variety of incredible and daring acts including illusion, aerial stunts, juggling and comedy. 

Tayto Park also announced limited edition family tickets for FunFest. Festival goers can now avail of limited edition family tickets with a discounted family ticket of two entries for €90 and more offers online. Tayto Park members can also avail of this limited-edition offer receiving a further reduction on family tickets to FunFest. On 29 & 30 June, Tayto Park will only be open to Funfest ticket holders, tickets available at www.taytopark.ie
