The Lion King is set to roar onto ODEON cinemas screens this Friday

This week ODEON cinemas nationwide welcome an old Disney classic back onto the big screen. The Lion King will return on July 19 in a new photorealistic computer animated form. The iconic family film voice cast include names such as, Beyoncé, Donald Glover, Seth Rogan, Billy Eichner, John Oliver, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard as well as James Earl Jones who returns as the voice of Mufasa. With a beautiful soundtrack, moving story and star studded cast it’s a film for all ages to enjoy.

Composer Hans Zimmer said of the movies score, “I knew we had a story to tell. It didn’t really matter if you didn’t understand the words, you knew that whatever they were, they were incredibly important. The story is still vital, and we have to make people hear it.”
