The Happy Halloween Experience Is Heading Back to Limerick This October

If you’ve got a little witch, a budding wizard or a child who starts planning their Halloween costume sometime around August, this one is for you. The Happy Halloween Experience is returning to Jetland Shopping Centre in Limerick from 17th to 31st October 2026, and it looks like exactly the kind of magical, low-stress family outing we all need as the darker evenings close in.

The experience is designed with younger children firmly in mind. The whole thing is billed as “Spooky, Not Scary”, which honestly should be printed on a banner and hung in every soft-play in the country. Because there’s a very fine line between Halloween fun and a meltdown at the school gates the next morning, and this experience seems to understand that completely.

Meet Hattie O’Goodspell

At the centre of it all is Hattie O’Goodspell, a wonderfully named witch who’ll be throwing open the doors of her enchanted home to welcome little visitors throughout the run. Before children get to meet Hattie herself, they’ll encounter her trainee witches and pick up some Halloween fun and traditions along the way. Then it’s into Hattie’s house, where she’ll show off her collection of broomsticks and witches’ hats, and possibly share a spell or two.

Every child will also receive a Halloween treat before heading off, and a professional photographer will be on hand to capture the whole thing.
