The biggest Easter egg hunt takes place in three weeks - do you have your tickets?

The Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt in aid of Barnardos takes place this year in Merrion Square, Dublin 2 on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st March.

Families looking for a jam-packed day of fun can look no further as the event truly has something to keep everyone entertained.

The city centre park will once again be transformed into a chocolatey children’s playground with an interactive Easter egg hunt at the heart of it.

Touch and feel your way around the park to crack the clues and complete the hunt. Everyone’s a winner and will receive a delicious Cadbury Easter egg when they finish.

After the hunt is complete, join in with the kids’ céilí or family yoga before heading to make rabbit sock puppets to take home with you.

Want to see the real thing? There will be real life rabbits there to pet and play with and learn about what they eat and how they jump so high.

Earn Your Ears by playing carnival games or competing in the sports day races before getting your face painted as your favourite Easter character.

After all the action, fun and games, head to the Barnardos tent for story time to relax before heading home with a goody bag and lots of fond family memories.

"I am so excited to be involved in this year’s Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt in aid of Barnardos," Jennifer Zamparelli said.

"After welcoming my second child earlier this year I truly understand how important it is to support the important work that Barnardos does.

"The Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt is a brilliant family event for such a great cause and it makes for the perfect day out this Easter.”

Family tickets cost €20 and single tickets cost just €5 – 100 percent of the ticket sales will go to Barnardos.

Families can choose from a morning slot (10:30am-1pm) or an afternoon slot (2pm – 4:30pm) on the Friday and Saturday.
