Teen's hilarious bathroom encounter with a curious kid goes viral

At what age is it appropriate for kids to use the bathroom by themselves?

Well this mum in an American restaurant decided that her four-year-old son, Levi, was capable of making the trip to the men's room himself. But she wasn't expecting him to make friends.

Inquisitive Levi needed helping hand to reach the sink- so he went to the closest responsible adult possible. Unfortunately, that adult, store employee Andrew, happened to be *ahem* answering natures call.

We are so glad that the teen happened to have his phone out at the time to capture the adorable exchange.

"What's you name?" Levi asks under the stall door.

"Ehhh, Andrew" the teen replies laughing.

Apparently this is all the invitation Levi needs to crawl under the stall and ask Andrew to help him washing his hands.

Laughing, Andrew says that maybe he should find his mum to help him. After a very short exchange about mouthwash Levi wanders off, leaving Andrew stranded on the toilet with the door open.

We're in bits!

To make the exchange even better, Levi's father, Len Stevens, saw the video and replied with the sweetest message.

Unfailingly polite, Andrew said that it was no bother chatting to the boy, and that he's "sure [he] did the same thing back in the day."

Speaking to Scary Mommy, dad Len said that Levi, like most four-year-olds, isn't the best listener.

“His mum wanted to take him into the women’s room but he bolted into the men's. She thought about going in after,” he said. “Andrew works there. I think Levi saw his uniform and figured he would help. Mum was just outside the door and heard the conversation and some laughter which is common when Levi is around.”

Internet famous and making a new friend? Now that's what we call a good day at work!
