These days, pregnancy announcements are often a bit mad and outlandish.
But this mum-to-be went for a subtler approach when the time came to tell her parents the exciting news.
Rather than hanging big banners or throwing a surprise party, she asked her folks to dinner. They arrived to see the table perfectly set – but little did they know that their spoons weren’t just any old spoons.
“Do you like the new spoons I picked up?,” Cheryl asks her parents.
In typical dad fashion, her father says yes before even looking at his, but mum is eagle-eyed and spots ‘grandma’ written on hers!
