Mum's hack for removing her kid's splinter is absolute GENIUS

We love a good hack which cuts time from something which you expected to drag out, and we love the people who share their skills with us just as much.

But have you ever found a hack which cuts out pain from something you have been terrified of?

Well with special thanks to Claire Bullen-Jones, we'll never endure the sheer pain and agony of removing a splinter ever again.

This mum has found a way to remove your kids' splinters pain-free, and we're pretty sure it can work for you too.

Using a medicine syringe, that comes with a box of Calpol or Ibuprofen for kids, Mum advises her followers to make sure the syringe is fully clean first.

"You need to make sure there’s a little bit of a gap before you start. Put the small hole at the bottom of the syringe as best you can over the splinter."

"Once you know your above it, make sure the syringe is touching the skin and pull! Make sure there’s no gaps otherwise you won’t get it!"

Claire states that using the syringe will most likely remove the splinter in the first go, and she has assured it is a pain-free method.

"No tugging and pulling, and no little ones upset or scared at getting it out! Don’t pull slowly! You need to pull rather quickly! If it’s a stubborn splinter, just do this a couple of times!"

"It saves so much time, and well worth seeing the kids smile at the end of it rather than red faces and tears."

"Because the plastic is clear, you can check what’s been taken out of the skin."

We think the hack is a form of genius, and can't believe how easy it sounds. Anything that prevents our little ones from tears makes us happy – will you be using this in future?
