Mum-to-be describes her ‘catcalling’ moments, and fellow mums speak up on their experiences

An expectant mum has taken to Baby Bumps to vent her annoyance at catcalling and we’re overly intrigued.

Catcalling is unfortunately something which has to be dealt with at some stage in your life, but for pregnant women it can be quite a strange experience.

And one mum-to-be has just realised that catcalling occurs quite frequently for her, which can be sometimes ‘comical’ but more often than not annoying.

Pregnant Catcalling: So, that's a thing from BabyBumps

For those of you who aren’t aware of catcalling, it’s when people you don’t know or have never met comment on your appearance or stare (A LOT).

For example, this user was at a charity event when a woman she had never met shouted “Damn girl! You about to drop!”

But she’s not alone…

Fellow mums shared their experiences online, and to be honest we were quite taken aback from some of the comments.

The guy who told one mum-to-be to “prepare to scream” – like seriously dude, why?
