Baby

Mum shocked when the police knock on door asking about her baby

Zoe James from Wales was shocked when four police officers knocked on her front door asking about her baby.

The mum-of-three was seriously confused especially because her "baby" was now five-years-old, and he was in school with his two older sisters.

Taking to her Facebook page, Zoe explained that she initially thought it was the postman knocking on the door.

"Just had a knock on the door and I opened it thinking it was the postman with my parcel I’ve been waiting for," she wrote.

"To my surprise it was four policemen and women! They asked me how long I’d been home and if I could open my car for them."

Understandably worried, the mum went to get her keys.

It was then that the police officers asked why she would leave a newborn baby in the car on its own.

"I explained my baby was five years old now and I had just dropped him to school with his two older sisters. But then one of the officers reached in and pulled a baby car seat out and said this baby."

Continuing, she wrote: "I automatically laughed but the police woman didn’t find it funny and said that it was an offence to leave a baby unattended.

"I quickly reached into the car seat an unwrapped the “baby” out of its blanket to show them that it was Tess’s Reborn that she had left in there."

Not surprisingly, the post has been shared over 11,000 times!
