Mum Review - Pampers baby-dry pants
Like many busy mums of young children, a night away is a precious and rare thing. Having planned our girls’ night away for months I finally got to head off leaving my four children and their daddy to fend for themselves!
I had everything planned out for them, including leaving my new Pampers baby-dry pants for my youngest little man, James, who is two. I had discovered these while trying to find a nappy solution for my little wriggler who hates getting his nappy changed and wants to be just like his big brother and wear big boy pants. They are designed to ensure that baby stays as dry and comfortable as possible and they are quick and easy to change, so I decided to put them to the test!
James is a tough customer but loves being able to stand up to put them on and with the easy tear sides they could be taken off standing up too …bonus! Since I have started using them I have a much happier baby. Now I was going to give them the ultimate test, the daddy test, I thought, as I laid them out with all the children’s clothes and waved goodbye! Next morning, having really enjoyed getting to relax, eat a (still) hot meal, a full cup of tea and a full night’s sleep, I couldn’t wait to get home but was a little worried about the chaos I would find on my return!
As I walked in the door and had four sets of arms wrapped around my legs, I surveyed the madness, toys were everywhere, a fort was in the kitchen and the kids were still in their jammies but they were all happy and any worries I had, had melted away. James untangled himself and ran away to play and I realised he was still in his nappy from the night before! My heart sank as I called him to me and while I tore off the side strips (he still had his arms around my neck!) I was waiting for the nappy rash!
I couldn’t believe it the nappy was sodden wet but he was bone dry and not a hint of the dreaded rash! I couldn’t believe it, James is so prone to getting nappy rash. He needs his nappy changed very regularly and he must have been in the pants over 12 hours…. I decided not to quiz himself over this, due to the fact that he was sitting on the couch with his head in his hands. I decided he had had enough for one day!
It was such a relief to know my baby was still my happy little man even after all that time in his nappy but also that he was obviously so comfortable and that nothing interrupted him playing with his brother and sisters, Pampers definitely kept their promise of 12 hours of dryness ….more likely 14-15!. Big boys pants he said to me and I giggled, I should have known they would all be fine and especially having my new find on my side! Thank goodness for Pampers!
