Mum makes special T-shirts to recognise dads of rainbow babies, and they’re beautiful

There are several different ways for couples to remember their rainbow babies, and we have seen many of them posted online.

But the one thing they almost all have in common is that the focus is on Mum, however a question one mum is asking is: “What about Dad?”

After suffering a miscarriage last year Bryn Huntpalmer took full advantage of the services and products available to the mum-of-two at quite a traumatic time.

But for her husband Richard, there wasn’t a lot available to him in terms of services, and he struggled with how he felt about the loss.

Bryn, who runs the Birth Hour was by her husband’s side through the distress, but it opened her eyes to the lack of services available to grieving fathers.

So much so, that the mum has created ‘Rainbow’ T-shirts for dads.

The range of T-shirts are designed to help dads pay tribute to their little ones who were lost along the way, but it also poses as an acknowledgment of a father’s role during child-loss.

The T-shirts are an important step in recognising dads too, and the T-shirts are proving quite popular for many families going through heartache.

Bryn sells her T-shirts on Amazon and also shows some previews on her Instagram account.

We think the idea is absolutely wonderful, a small comfort through a special time that all the family can share together.
