Mum cannot ignore what happens when two kids cry on a plane, leaving her shocked

Kesha Bernard was taking a trip without her children, the mum-of-two was delirious with excitement.

While we all miss our children when we're away, we know all too well how important it is to have a break and some 'me' time.

But in a strange turn of events, Kesha has ended up posting a photograph on board the plane, with a sleeping toddler on her lap.

And when we learn the reason why, we're a little taken aback, as the mum-of-two explains: "It takes a village to raise kids."

But unfortunately, on this particular flight, there were very few members of that village.

When the photographer mum boarded her flight there was a problem with weight issues, therefore it took some time before the flight took off.

And while the issue is being resolved, the fully packed flight was absolutely appalled to hear the sound of a baby's cries.

Kesha sympathised: "Obviously I'm totally used to crying and whining so I tune it out. Everyone around me starts huffing and puffing and mumbling."

And then the inevitable happened; two kids are crying.

A mum-of-three sitting at the back of the plane was having trouble with her toddler who didn't want to wear her seatbelt, while her baby was also crying.

Kesha doesn't mind the crying though, it's something else entirely that has her bothered: "I hear a woman complaining to this mother that her child needs to stop kicking her seat. THEN I hear the mother say 'she's three I cant believe you just did that'; apparently the lady reached behind her and grabbed the child's leg."

"And the older men beside me make remarks like 'obviously her way of discipline isn't working' so I reply with 'she's probably afraid to do anything… you cant do anything anymore' and they stopped talking."

"I sat here for 15 minutes waiting on someone closer to this woman to offer her help, because I'm surrounded by caring adults, right? (wrong), I turn around to see people mumbling and staring at this mother with her THREE kids ALONE."

As an older woman covered her ears and began to make 'faces' at the alone mum, Kesha decided to stand up, she wasn't going to let this other mum 'drown' at the back of the plane.

Walking back to help her fellow mum, Kesha asks if she needs help; taking the infant who stopped crying and began to fall asleep on her lap, Kesha was appalled with the people who was on her flight.

Making the point that each and every person should be kind and considerate, Kesha calls on people to help others when you can see they need it.

"Complaining and mumbling doesn't do a damn thing except make the person that needs help feel worse (words hurt), and back to the lady holding her ears, GROW UP, […], this flight should be ashamed of themselves."

Not being able to comprehend that she was the only person on that flight willing to help out another, Kesha's plea to the public is all too real, as she begs people to be kinder.

"You're telling me I'm the only ONE out of a full plane that was willing to help? How we can ignore a human in distress is beyond me. Please be kind. Please be considerate. Help one another, it makes everything easier. I promise you wont die."

It costs nothing to be nice, some time it may be you that needs that helping hand…
