Little girl with Down syndrome making the cheerleading team will give you all the feels

A video of a little girl finding out she has made her school’s cheerleading team has captured the hearts of millions of people all over the world.

In the adorable video, 10-year-old Lacey Parker waits nervously to find out if she made the squad or not and cannot contain her joy when she discovers the good news.

“I made it,” she says, before literally jumping for joy.

Lacey’s mum Renee posted the video on her Facebook page and has been overwhelmed by the response.

“Down Syndrome is a label, it's not who she is,” Renee says. “She's an amazing little girl who strives to do whatever she wants to do.”

We are inspired by Lacey and the brave way she puts no boundaries on what she wants to achieve in life.

Can't even put into words how excited she is!!!! I am the proud mom of an NDMS cheerleader!!! (Again) lol

With those jumping skills we are left in no doubt as to why she was picked for the team!
