Irish mum releases new family app to help parents create more connections

A new parenting app has been launched to help parents build their support system.

Mia Shepherd, a mother from Co. Wicklow, has created Playdayz, an app for parents that helps them to organise everything from playdates to childcare.

The PlayDayz ethos has been described as a reminder for parents to “lean on one another, as it takes a village to raise a child”.

The app contains three key sections, including an area to create, plan, and manage playdates and childcare with ease, in-app messaging with other parents to share details and stay connected, and an exclusive Holiday Calendar to easily organise playdates during school holidays and breaks.

PlayDayz has been designed to make things easy and convenient for parents during busy days, without compromising on security and safety. The app connects parents who value fun and reliable playdates, and only you can choose who you add to your private PlayDayz community. All parents must upload a valid ID during set-up, making your community as trusted as possible.

Not only does PlayDayz give you the opportunity to meet other like-minded parents in your local area and build a new community, but it also gives your little ones a chance to build their confidence, make new friends, develop their social skills, and have endless amounts of fun.

The PlayDayz membership subscription has been made affordable for parents, and users can also avail of a 30 day free trial. Your paid subscription will renew monthly unless it is cancelled, and you can cancel anytime you like.

Playdayz is available to download from the App Store now, and you can also visit their website here.
