Hilarious father dons tutu to dance with daughter
The Internet seems to be filled with dancing dads and to be honest, most of the moves make us cringe.
But one dad recently turned that on its head. Thanh Tran from Knoxville, Tennessee, recently donned a leotard and tutu to take part in his daughter's ballet recital.
In the post, Tran a professional body-building coach, says that unleashing his inner prima donna was worth it:
"The look back smile from her, made it all worth it. Not gonna lie, my calves and toes were cramping up. It was Parents' Night at my daughter's ballet school…. She thought it would be really funny to see her dad wearing the tutu, so I agreed, to make her happy. She was very proud of me and told me she loved me 20-something times. I knew what it meant to her, and knew it would make memories."
As his wife is 7 months pregnant at the time she couldn't participate. Tran says she was one of only two dads there, and "and the only one who dressed up!"
Tran continues to say that daughter Adriana takes ballet very seriously, "taking it three times a week."
"It was nice to see her laughing throughout the class." he added "I wouldn't have missed it for the world!"
Speaking to Today, wife Rebecca said that Tran arrived to recital in full ballet attire.
“Everyone automatically looked at him, and he was trying not to laugh,” she said. “I think he made a lot of people’s days; he just walked in with it right on.”
