Haven’t a clue about who to vote for in the upcoming Irish General Election? Or maybe you need a little help making your decision?
Well if so, you’re going to love the nifty online tool created to help you make your selection.
So how does it work?
Smartvote.ie asked every candidate in each constituency to complete a test with 30 questions.
Voters then take the test themselves to see how favourably the candidates match up with what they want from the Republic’s new leaders.
And the 10-minute test is super simple:
After selecting your constituency you answer question on topics ranging from health insurance to public transport to abortion.
When you complete the test click ‘Show Results’ and the candidate who closest matched your responses will pop up.
