Halloween inspo needed? We've 7 events bound to keep the kids entertained

Searching for fun Halloween activities for the kids can be a complete nightmare (see what we did there?).

But if you're not the creative type, or just haven't enough hours in the day to search high and low for the perfect fit – then look no further because we've got it sussed.

We've picked out some of our favourite ghoulish events which are taking place across Ireland that the kids will absolutely LOVE, and there's a chance you might actually love them too!

1. Pumpkin Picking at Tinahely Farm 

This is definitely one you will enjoy alongside the kids! Tinahely Farm in County Wicklow offers pumpkin picking every half hour from 12 noon. Enjoy tractor rides, an activity barn and plenty of hot chocolate. Check it out here

2. Samhain Evening, Brigit's Garden

An event for all ages in Co. Galway, the Bonfire and Story-telling evening runs from 2.30pm – 6.30pm, includes treasure hunts, face-painting, apple-fishing and Celtic gardens to name just a few. You can buy tickets here

3. Halloween Pirate Adventure, Rathwood

The kids will get to meet Captain Jack & Penelope Sail, where they'll help find redbeard's famous ship and hidden treasure before the evil captain hook, visit the pirates pumpkin patch and get creative with carving. Tickets can be found here

4. Ghoulsley’s Manor, Cobh

The theatrical experience inside the mysterious and spooky manor is back for 2017 in Co. Cork, including some new line-ups aimed toward younger children. It promises to be an exciting adventure, check them out here

5. Halloween at Dublinia, Dublin

Running from October 28th to November 3rd, visitors to Dublinia will get a taste of supernatural and ghostly happenings while Delig Inis will present their annual performance at the museum. Book your tickets here.  

6. Bats festival, Monaghan

The Bats festival is an annual event, where children can enjoy a spooky walking tour, bouncy castles, spooky train rides, fireworks, music and much more. An event for all the family, more information is available here

7. Pooka Spooka at Causey Farm
