Girl, 4, asks cop to come to her house to help her, and it will melt your heart

Four-year-old Sidney Fahrenbruch just moved into a new house with her parents.

But instead of picking out the best bedroom, or coveting her favourite patch in the garden, she had other things to figure out.

Sidney wanted to root out all the monsters that lived in the house before she could settle.

You see, when everyone was in bed and she was supposed to be sleeping, Sidney could hear sounds, so it was obviously the noise of monsters infiltrating the house.

Nevertheless, when her family went to a community event, they happened to bump into police officer David Bonday, prompting the four-year-old to politely ask would he be able to help her find the monsters.

And David did not disappoint. Taking the time out of his day on Sunday, Officer Bonday went to the four-year-old's house, helping her to seek out all the monsters!

Completing a thorough investigation of the house, including under beds and behind the couch, David and Sidney came to the conclusion that there were in fact no monsters hiding within the house, but they have since become fully trained in the art of monster hunting.

Moreover, Sidney has become so confident in her own abilities to hunt for monsters, that she is no longer afraid to sleep in her new room.

According to Longmont Fire and Police: "Monsters can be a frightening experience for children. It turns out though, that with a little help, you really can get these unfriendly folks out of your house."

This has warmed our hearts on another level, amazing – we bet she wants to be a police officer when she grows up now!
