Bunny ears and egg holders: Fun Easter crafts for kids

Get your little ones excited for Easter with these easy craft ideas. Even the simplest ones can get the greatest laughs out of your kids.

Easter bunny mask

An Easter bunny mask is really easy to make and it doesn’t take much effort at all. Get a paper plate and cut out two holes in the middle to make the eyes. Use a marker to draw out the nose and the mouth. With an A4 piece of paper, cut out two ears and glue them on the edge of the paper plate. Before you know it, your little ones will be hoping around the place with this easy-to-make mask.

Easter egg holder

Cut a paper towel roll into 2-inch sections and then cut strips of A4 paper that is long and wide enough to wrap around the paper roll.  Glue it on and colour with markers, decorate with glitter, fluff and even stickers. It’s all up to you really. The more creative you get with this, the more excited your kids will get about Easter.

Bunny ears

Use white and pink paper to make out bunny ear shapes. Make sure you make the pink ones smaller than the white ones and then glue them on after you’re finished. Cut a long strip of construction paper that measures to fit your child’s head. Staple the ends together and then glue the ears on top.

Easter bouquet

Poke a hole with scissors or a pen through the bottom of the baking cup and then stick a pipe cleaner through the hole. Bend the top of the pipe cleaner over and glue into place. Get a few more pipe cleaner stems together and push them through the hole. Then, twist the end of each into the shape of flowers. Tie with a ribbon to make a springtime bouquet and then glue all over the baking cup before you decorate it with glitter.
