Family Life

Couple quit jobs to travel around the world with their BABY

Imagine giving it all up for a life on the road, no nine-to-five, new cities and cultures everyday, and bringing your kids along for the ride? Sounds like bliss.

Well, while most of us would only dream about it, this couple from US decided to actually do it.

Terry and Jennifer Constant sold their house and all of their possessions, bought themselves a motorhome and headed to Europe to start the adventure of a lifetime.

And, no, they're not some young ones with no ties or responsibilities – they are actually travelling with their one-year-old son.

In fact, it was his arrival that made them reconsider their life (as well as their passion for travelling).

Everyday a new campsite and a new perspective on life. Beach front = happy times. #freecamping #sunshine #motorhoming #travelastheygrow

“There’s nothing like the feeling of packing up your life, clearing out the unnecessary, and starting a new chapter,” Terry wrote on their blog, Travel As They Grow.

“The world is out there for us to see, and what better way to watch our little one grown up?"

"Life is so precious and time is worth so much more than money," Jennifer explained to Travel and Leisure.

"Watching your baby grow up in a relaxed environment, travelling the globe, is one of the best preschool educations you can offer."

They are currently enjoying life in Portugal, and have a few more stops to hit in Europe before heading to Africa in the autumn.

Nope, we're not jealous at all… *cough.
