Emerald Park's Summer Sizzler Offer Gets Families in for Just €30
The school bags are finally on the floor, the lunchboxes have been shoved to the back of a press and the summer holidays are officially, gloriously here. Now comes the bit where you actually have to fill them. If your budget is already feeling the pinch of the end of June, here’s something worth knowing about.
Emerald Park has just launched a ‘Summer Sizzler’ ticket offer that brings admission down to €30 per person — that’s a saving of over 40% on the standard price of €54. Tickets are available to buy online from today, 29th June, and are valid for visits between 1st and 8th July 2026. Given that this is a limited window, it’s the kind of deal worth acting on sooner rather than later.
What’s waiting for the kids
Located just 20 minutes from Dublin in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, Emerald Park has always been one of those places that genuinely delivers on a family day out — not just for the older ones chasing thrills, but for the smaller members of the crew too. The Junior Zone has more than 10 family-friendly attractions, multiple playgrounds and the Emerald Park Zoo, which is home to over 250 animals from around the world. Lemur Woods and the Petting Farm tend to go down particularly well with younger visitors who want something a bit more hands-on than a rollercoaster.
This summer also sees the opening of Lost Valley – Land of the Dinosaurs, a newly re-themed prehistoric adventure that’s very much a big deal if you have a dinosaur-obsessed child (and let’s be honest, most of them are at some point). The land includes the Dino Dash coaster, a brand new family swing ride called Swingosaurus, and life-size prehistoric creatures throughout. The highlight for many will be the Dino Meet & Greet experiences, now running seven days a week, where kids can come face-to-face with a T-Rex, Velociraptors and baby Triceratops. The kind of thing they’ll be talking about for the rest of the summer — and probably recreating loudly in the sitting room for weeks afterwards.
For the ones who want a proper thrill
If you’ve got older kids or teens who consider the petting farm beneath them, Emerald Park has that covered too. The Cú Chulainn Coaster remains one of Ireland’s most iconic thrill rides and there’s also Na Fianna Force and The Quest in the Tír na nÓg themed land for those who want twists and turns. On a warm July day, the Viking Voyage flume — Ireland’s only flume attraction — is going to seem like a very good idea indeed, even if the soaking afterwards is less welcome.
How to grab the deal
Tickets for the Summer Sizzler offer must be purchased online and are only available to puchasebetween 29th June and 8th July for visits between 1st and 8th July 2026. You won’t be able to pick these up at the gate, so it’s an online-only purchase — worth doing today if you’re already planning a trip for early July.
Full terms and conditions are available at EmeraldPark.ie, where you can also book your tickets.
