Easy shortbread recipe
- 200g plain flour
- 225g cold unsalted butter
- 110g corn flour
- 110g icing sugar
- 25g cocoa powder (optional)
Method:
- Put all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until well combined.
- Roll the mixture onto a floured surface and cut out shapes using cutters and then chill in the fridge.
- After an hour, place the shortbread in a preheated oven (110°C) with a sheet of baking parchment.
- Cook for an hour and a half.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
