Zero Waste Week is a week-long campaign running from the 6th-10th September, raising awareness about the environmental impact of waste. Created to help individuals and organisations become more waste conscious all year round, Zero Waste Week offers tips on recycling, saving water, reducing plastics and climate change among many other things.

The average European consumes around 160 litres of water daily, corresponding to almost 60,000 litres annually. Here are some easy steps to take to help reduce your daily water consumption.

Dry Shampoo Challenge:

Avoid washing your hair just once a week, using dry shampoo in its place and save up to 500 litres per year! Turn off the tap:

Shorter showers:
