Daughter posts the most perfect family image in tribute to her dad on Father’s Day

Chrissy Roussel of Roussel Six Pack sent a very special image into Love What Matters in memory of her father.

The colourful image caught our eye the moment we seen it, but more importantly, the message captured our hearts.

The portrait image was of her children alongside their 11 cousins, making that 17 grandchildren for her parents.

However, sadly Chrissy’s father passed away three years ago, but finding out she was pregnant with triplets soon after he passed was bliss for the mum.

And to share in the joy, both of her brother’s wives found out they too were expecting.

Chrissy believes that these kids were a blessing, bringing so much joy and happiness in the months and years after her dad’s passing.

Looking at the photo the mum-of-six states:

“I notice in particular those five rainbow babies who brought so much joy in the months and years after my Dad passed away.”

“I also reflect on how those 17 kind, thoughtful, funny kids are my Dad's greatest legacy.”

The grandchildren are lined up in T-shirts numbered one to 17; with one being the oldest grandchild and 17 being the youngest.

The children are also colour coded, with the girls in the pink shirts being Chrissy’s six daughter’s while the three children in the green being her sister-in-law, Annabelle Rose Photography’s, children.

Naturally it was Annabelle who snapped the image when the family went to the beach together, but Chrissy shares that what her dad left behind is:

“A beautiful legacy of love, indeed.”

“We miss him so much, but we feel his presence every day through the love and joy of all these kids.”

We're sure Chrissy's dad is extremely proud of his wonderful family.

We're super emotional right now, but we also think this is a beautiful idea for a family portrait.
