Dad earns 'points' when he reinvents his daughter's bedroom and it's so COOL

When planning your daughter's bedroom, you dream big.

But when it comes down to it, all you really need is a bed, wardrobe, curtains – the usual, with some bright colours added in for good measure.

It's hard to stay motivated and committed when designing your children's bedrooms though, especially when you know they're going to mess the place up within seconds.

But one dad has earned some serious brownie points with his daughter following his creation for his little girl's room.

Dad took it upon himself to redesign her bed for her third birthday.

Taking her normal bed, he built a structure around the frame and the bed is only fit for a princess.

Scored big "daddy points" with my daughter 3rd birthday present. Her very own princess castle bed from daddit

Dad claimed: "It wasn't hard. Just layout, cut out, sand, paint up and assemble. 90 per cent of woodworking is finished work to make it look nice."

When his three-year-old gets sight of the creation she won't be able to contain her excitement at her bright pink castle bed.

Isn't this so cool? A huge well done to dad on this one – will you be taking on this challenge for your girls' room?
