Toddlers

Boy puts 20 dollars into his pocket after a stranger plays with him in a store

When Alyssa Hacker went to her local shop to pick up a few bits along with her mum and toddler, she never in a million years thought she would be reduced to tears.

While she was waiting on her mum, her son, Owen, spotted some dinosaurs, picking up three of them.

The teddy-like dinosaurs were in three different colours; green, orange and khaki.

According to Love What Matters, Alyssa and Owen, were trying to pick out which colour they liked the most so they could buy one.

As the pair were choosing, little Owen spotted a strange man passing by, automatically shouting hello.

Alyssa commented: "He turned around and said 'hey sweet boy' and proceeded to play dinosaurs with Owen."

"With this crazy world we live in I was a little hesitant as to how close he was with Owen."

But the mum was about to learn the reason the older gentleman engaged with her son, just as he sliped 20 dollars into the toddler's pocket.

"[He] said 'I just lost my two-year-old grandson last week. You take this money and buy this boy all three dinosaurs and rubbed Owen's back, wiped his tears and walked off."

"After, Owen yelled 'thank you', the gentleman turned around and yelled 'boomer sooner'!"

And that was when Alyssa learned there is still some good left in the world, as she was reduced to tears with compassion and the kindness displayed to her son.

You never know what kind of a story someone is carrying, be kind to one another.
