Boy bullied over 'girly' lunchbox- so his cousin claps back in the best way ever

David Pendragon, from North Carolina has an important message about manhood- and we love it.

His little cousin, Ryker, who loves cats. At 10-year-old, he's at a difficult phase, where you can get teased mercilessly for the slightest of 'girly' things.

So when he bought a new lunch box with cats on it, the bullies had a field day, leaving the poor boy broken hearted.

Luckily, his cousin had a thing or two to say about it.

"Ryker, who loves cats, was very excited to get his new lunchbox," David wrote on Facebook. "Unfortunately because of its colours, or because it has cats, or both he was teased about it by other boys in his class. He even wanted to stop taking his lunch so he wouldn't be teased about it any longer.

"I have decided, however, to stand with my little cousin and show him that a man can love whatever he wants and not be afraid to express that love."

To show how serious he is about that statement, David bought the same lunch box.

"So I have ordered the same lunchbox for myself and proudly carried it to work today at my large, conservative, corporate workplace. I've told anyone who asked the story behind my lunchbox and to a person, they all stand with Ryker too."

Because that the end of the day, boys should be allowed to express their passions and creativity without the fear of bullying.

"There's no one way to be a man. Men can be colourful. Men can be expressive. Men can be emotional and silly and gleeful.

"I love my new lunchbox and I hope Ryker and all the other boys out there can see that their passion and self-expression is never something to be ashamed of."

The uplifting post has since gone viral, with thousands of comments supporting Ryker and his colourful lunch box.

Such a beautiful message AND we want a matching lunch box!
