Barbie’s back, and she’s a mummy now!
On Instagram the world can seem full of picture perfect mums. Some might even seem practically doll-like with their ideal families. However, there’s one Instagram account that’s taken that image of perfection even further- with actual Barbies.
If you’ve ever wondered what happened if Barbie grew up and became a mum, then Tiff the Barbie is your answer. The plastic “Insta-mum”, along with her husband Ken and adorable children Kelly and Wyatt, have over 11,000 followers and counting. And she’s doing all the things any snap happy mummy can relate to.
Pregnancy snaps? Check. Chilled nights in? Double check.

The creator, who chose to remain anonymous while talking to Scary Mommy, says that the story behind Tiff started small. “I got started with Tiff’s story little by little,” they said. “When I first started I wasn’t planning on her getting married and having kids, actually I wasn’t planning on anything — it just happened.”
But then Tiff fell in love. “Once I bought a Ken, I figured why not give her a boyfriend. Then Ken popped the question, then marriage, then kids.” As much as the creator loves sharing Tiff’s life with the world, they’re still surprised about how big the account has gotten. “It sounds weird talking that way about a BARBIE,” they joke.
What about their favourite pictures? “My favorite picture theme I guess would be the pregnancy pictures because they are fun to take and fun to post.” Even Barbie has to lather up on the Cocoa Butter!
