AWH! Is this the most romantic proposal story yet?
We have no idea how this romantic boyfriend (now fiancé!) managed to slip this one by his wife-to-be. In one of the most impressive proposal stories we’ve seen yet – mainly because of the fact he managed to keep it a surprise – Ray Smith from Grimsby in the UK spent five whole months sneaking cards saying, “Will you marry me” into photos with his girlfriend Claire.
Five months! That’s 148 days to be exact. And she hadn’t a notion.
And aside from being logistically impressive, the proposal is just pure romance.
After managing to keep the sneaky photo-taking going for the five months Ray compiled a video with all the pictures and finally proposed to Claire on Christmas morning. And of course she said yes!
“It was really stressful putting it all together, it took a lot of hard work,” said Ray. “She nearly caught me a couple of times but I just had to pray it worked. Sometimes she wanted to see the pictures so I had to take more than one – one with the card and one without”
