Amazing 10-year-old jumps into action when cousin unexpectedly gives birth

Chloe Carrion's aunt is very lucky to have her because this week, she was there for her when she gave birth.

Chloe, who is 10-years-old, heard her aunt scream from the bathroom in Fairfax, Virginia, and when she ran to see what had happened, she found her having just given birth.

In total shock, Chloe didn't know what to do.

Her aunt had been keeping the pregnancy to herself as she was terrified and overwhelmed by it all.

Her 21-year-old cousin had been having stomach pains and only realised she was in labour when she was on the toilet. 

Alone in the house with just her aunt, it was up to Chloe to jump into action. 

Chloe told WJLA, "she gave me the baby because she got in the bathtub and she lost a lot of blood, so she fell and passed out. So I called 911.''

The next thing she knew, her aunt had fallen down and she was unconscious. 

Chloe suddenly remembered YouTube videos she had watched about taking care of baby dolls, and decided that she would apply what she'd learned to her newborn cousin.

"The videos helped me with swaddling and cleaning him up from everything," she said.

Impressive, right?

Chloe cleaned the baby and cut his umbilical cord, with the help of 911 dispatchers who helped her on the phone. 

Chloe's aunt and baby are said to be doing well and Chloe has even named her new cousin – a gorgeous baby boy called Isaac.
