ALDI's Baby and Toddler Event Returns With Some Seriously Good Deals

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to stock up on baby and toddler essentials without doing serious damage to your bank balance, consider this it. ALDI’s Baby & Toddler Event is returning to stores nationwide from 23rd July, and the headline act alone is a goodie!

Leading the range this year is the Graco 360° Rotating Car Seat at €129.99 — a genuinely impressive bit of kit for a price that won’t have you hyperventilating at the till. If you’ve ever tried to wrestle a sleepy toddler into a rear-facing seat in a car park in the rain, you’ll understand immediately why a 360° swivel is not a luxury. It’s a necessity. The seat also features a 10-position recline, side impact protection, a 5-point harness and machine-washable fabric covers, and it’s suitable from birth up to approximately four years. That’s a lot of mileage for €129.99.

Something for every stage

The event doesn’t stop at car seats. ALDI has put together a range that covers pretty much every corner of family life with a baby or toddler in it. For anyone expecting or setting up a nursery, the Aurora Next to Me Crib at €74.99 offers seven height adjustments and easy-rolling casters so you can keep baby close through those early weeks without having to get out of bed more than you absolutely need to.

The Ball Pit at €49.99 (available in green or cream) includes 200 play balls and soft-touch foam, which is the kind of thing that buys a solid forty minutes of occupied, happy child while you drink a hot cup of tea. Theoretical, obviously, but the dream is alive. For quieter moments the Children’s Saucer Chair at €19.99 gives little ones a cosy spot to wind down, and it comes in bear, cat or fox designs so they’ll actually want to sit in it.

Practical safety items are in the mix too. The Baby Safety Gate at €22.99 has a 2-step release lock and sturdy metal construction, and the Nuby My Real Potty at €22.99 includes a realistic flushing sound, removable bowl, splash guard and a back tank that holds full-sized wipes. Toilet training is stressful enough — at least the equipment can be decent.
