Ah here! You can send KISSES through this weird new phone
Another day – another strange technology invention we probably didn’t need.
Yep, if you’ve ever wanted to snog the object of your affection from afar, it seems it might actually become a thing.
The Kissenger simulates kissing a loved one. Will virtual kissing become a thing? https://t.co/Up9Uixv0yW pic.twitter.com/fMXFvsnXbh

The Kissenger is a “kiss messenger” that copies your kiss and sends it to a recipient using a paired device.
According to Mashable, how it works is you kiss the pad on the front of the Kissenger, and it registers the pressure of your kiss. This is then transmitted to the device of the person you’re ‘kissing’, with the pad on their Kissenger giving them the lip action.
And while we think the idea is cute for couples in a long distance relationship perhaps (however, not so cute for clingy couples), we have to admit the device looks about as romantic as a wet sock.
The Kissenger was created at City University London’s Imagineering Lab – and perhaps mercifully, it’s still in its prototype phase, so it’s unclear if it will actually come to market.
Come on, you can use technology for a lot of things, but kissing? Down with this sort of thing!
