'A really beautiful moment': Watch dog help wheelchair user down the street

It was a sight to behold: Dingong the dog diligently helping his owner down the street in Davao del Norte, in the Philippines.

The seven-month-old puppy is owned by 46-year-old Danilo Arlarcon, who is disabled and has to use a wheelchair.

He seems to be in safe hands though, as Dingdog was seen pushing him along in a wheelchair, using his head.

The footage was captured by an onlooker, Faith Revilla, who was on her way home with her husband when she spotted the pair.

According to MSN News, Faith described the scene as ''heartwarming'' and said, “just this ordinary afternoon, we felt blessed to have witnessed this extra ordinary sight of an amazing creature helping its master manoeuvre his wheelchair along seminary drive. I mean, I thought it only happens in TV shows, this very scenario. I’m out of words to describe my emotions right now.”

Faith asked Danilo, who sadly lost the use of his legs in a motorcycle accident several years ago, to buy him lunch as she was so moved by their close bond.

“It was a really beautiful moment when we saw the pair of them,” Faith said.

“We took Danilo to our favourite buffet. We wanted to treat him.”

We think this one of the sweetest stories we've heard in a while – and thanks to Faith for sharing it with the world.
