Acting couple welcome their second child

They announced the news of their pregnancy back in January, and we are happy to report that actors Rachel Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies have welcomed their second child.

She’s All That star Rachel took to her social media channels to announce that she gave birth to a son on April 4, named Theodore Vigo Sullivan Gillies.

Little Theodore was reportedly born at 5am, weighing in at 8lbs. 14oz. and measuring 20.5 inches. He now joins the couple’s 18-month-old daughter, Charlotte Easton.

Rachel shared the news with her followers on Twitter last night, writing: “Welcome to the party, Little Buddy. We love you so much.”

Rachel and The Originals star Daniel revealed at the start of the year that they would be welcoming baby number two, telling E! News at the time: “We’re as happy as we were surprised by this wonderful news!”

They added: “We haven’t slept since 2013 and welcome advice from all parents who survived Two Under Two.”
