Tragedy after nine-year-old accidentally shoots instructor

There was tragedy in Arizona, US on Monday after a nine-year-old girl accidentally shot and killed her instructor at a shooting range.

Charles Vacca, 39, was killed when the nine-year-old girl pulled the trigger and lost control of the weapon.

Vacca was said to be a military veteran and had been working at the range for two years.

The range have said they allow children over eight to learn how to shoot guns and say there has never been an incident in the ten years they have been operating.

The girl was being filmed on camera by her parents when the tragedy occurred and this footage has now been given to the relevant authorities.

Such a terrible accident for all involved.
