Lemonade scones

lemonade sconesIngredients:

  • 237ml lemonade (not flat)
  • 240g cream
  • 300g self-rising flour
  • Milk, to glaze

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C.
  2. Mix flour, cream and lemonade until mixture is soft.
  3. Turn onto a lightly floured board and pat down.
  4. Don’t roll.
  5. Use a round cookie cutter to cut out scones.
  6. Brush tops with milk or a lightly beaten egg.
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until tops are golden
