8 spooktacular ideas for the best Halloween party EVER

Are your little monsters up for a party? Make no bones about it, it is a fangtastic idea. (sorry)

We’ve put together some AMAZING ideas for the ultimate Fright Night with your spooky gang. Make it a Halloween to remember with these spooktacular ideas.

1. Bewitching balloons

These are so easy to make and really add to the ambiance. Just draw eyes and a scary mouth on some white balloons and stick white crepe paper to the ends. You have your very own fright flight! Dot them around the house for some seriously spooky vibes.

2. Pumpkin power

Doll up those pumpkins by creating your own non-carve versions. They look so pretty as well as seasonal. Just cut a hole in them large enough to fit a small plastic cup of water. Cut your buds or flowers to measure and you have some seriously cool table decorations.

3. Invite the neighbourhood

The more the scarier, right? It is a lovely idea to invite your neighbours, class, cousins or friends to join your fright night. It is a LOT warmer than going trick-or treating too! You can even do it for a fantastic reason like the Temple Street Foundation which hopes to raise money to help upgrade and replace specialised equipment at the children’s hospital. The ‘Trick or Treat for Temple Street’ campaign is proudly sponsored by MiWadi who are encouraging people to host their own fundraiser party. So gather your party monsters, get your spook on and raise money to help those brave kids at Temple Street.  Just register your party here!

4. Toffee apples

Simply, grease a few baking trays. Insert lollipop sticks into the whole, stemmed apples. Melt some white chocolate and dip in the apples once it is melted. Leave aside to dry. In a saucepan, combine sugar, golden syrup and water. Heat slowly for five minutes and stir in red food colouring. Hold the apple by it’s stick and dip in the syrup and turn to coat evenly. Place on prepared trays to harden.

5.  Ghost bowling

Just stick some googley eyes on some toilet roll and let the kids bowl to their hearts’ content. This is a very inexpensive way to have fun but you can be sure the kids will talk about it for years to come!

6. Pin the spider

Anything that we have to close our eyes for is instantly spooky. This is a great fun game to play with all your pals. Simply draw a web and give the kids a spider with a sticky bottom and let them try and get it into the centre. Brilliant!

7.  Scary snacks

An easy way to get fruit into your little monsters. Just dip your strawberries into some white chocolate, allow to dry and stick on a face of chocolate chips. Easy and fiendishly yummy.

8. Monster door

This is a great way to spook up your house. You can also be as imaginative as you like. You can add white bunting for teeth and googley eyes are everything! Add some cobwebs for some extra scare. Fangtastic!
