7-year-old boy sends heartbreaking drawing to firefighters who saved his life

Our hearts are breaking over a drawing by a young boy who was involved in the most harrowing car accident earlier this year.

Seven-year-old Ollie was travelling with his dad when a ‘horrific’ car accident occurred. Two people lost their lives in the crash, but Ollie and his dad were luckily saved by the firefighters.

The team from Trowbridge Station received the touching drawing in the post from Ollie.

The drawing of the accident featured the sweetest message from the youngster. He thanked the team for helping save his and his dad’s lives.

“To the firefighter men and ladies. Thanks for helping me and my daddy on Sunday, 28 of October 2018."
The team shared the drawing on Twitter and revealed that Ollie visited them at the station.

They wrote: “Remember Ollie? Unfortunately, he witnessed something terrible. He sent us the attached picture so we wrote back and invited him to the station for a visit.

“We wanted to check the little man was ok,” they added.

Ollie’s mum thanked the team for helping make such a horrifying experience better for her son.

“Thank you so much for today! It was an amazing experience. He’s not stopped talking about it. You managed to turn such a negative into a positive. Thank you again,” she tweeted.

Power to the team at Trowbridge Station. There’s no doubt poor Ollie was left terrified after being involved in such a tragic accident.

It’s great to see him smiling again.
