We LOVE what Adele's 3-year old son has done to smash gender stereotypes
As we often say here in MagicMum, the healthiest thing for our kids is to give them to freedom to figure out who they are by themselves, and certainly not to forcibly impose gender roles on them from a young age.
So we were delighted – and not at all surprised – to see our fave down-to-earth celeb mum Adele practice the very thing we believe in so strongly.
On a recent trip to Disneyland in California the superstar let her son Angelo dress up as whatever character he wanted – so he chose Ana from Frozen, and proudly sported her Coronation outfit, a yellow-skirted dress, white ankle socks and even some little black pumps!
And why wouldn’t a boy (or a girl) want to dress up as Ana? Is she not a badass hero?
We applaud Adele for allowing Angelo the freedom to choose for himself AND for putting out an important message about gender stereotyping in the process
