Two gorgeous strawbs and cream Santa ideas

Santa strawbs are quite simply the cutest, most festive way to get our little ones chomping on some fruit. Okay, there’s cream in there too – but hey, it’s Christmas!

And if you think eating them is fun, making them is even better craic. Kids of all ages will LOVE making them with you.

So get the spray cream and the strawbs out of the fridge and pump up those festive tunes!

Method:

There are two options you can make. Either create the mini Santa, or a Santa hat biscuit – or both!

Mini Santa:

1. Upend your strawberry and cut the top off.

2. Fill the centre with cream and pop the ‘hat’ piece on top. Add a blob of cream for the tip.

3. Get creative! Use choc chips for Santa’s eyes and buttons, or add little blueberry feet. If you’re feeling jazzy add some sprinkles or edible glitter to the cream.

Santa hat biscuit:

1. Cut the bottom off the strawberry so it ‘stands’.

2. Stick the cut end onto a biscuit using honey to stick.

3. ‘Trim’ the hat with cream.
